About us

Who we are & what we do

The OZ Myslenie pre zivotsystematically promotes the Method of Instrumental Awareness (MIA) in Slovakia. The civic association is chaired by Jana Kružliaková, a special and preschool teacher. The method, which has wide application in the educational process, is being developed in the Czech Republic by the

ATC for Education and Development

under the leadership of Eva Váňová. MIA is based on a comprehensive concept that has been proven over many years of practice and can be used as a tool for corrective or intervention procedures and plans, as well as for supporting gifted children and other target groups.

Through MIA, we support education, personal growth, and the deepening of cognitive, emotional, and social skills. We train teachers, school principals, special educators, therapists, psychologists, social workers, and other interested individuals in working with the method. The Czech ATC was founded in 2015, and our organization was established as part of it and has been operating in Slovakia since 2020.
